20th Century Fox and Walt Disney Studios have debuted a brand new theatrical trailer and poster for Matthew Vaughn's The King's Man, featuring even more awesome footage from the upcoming Kingsman prequel/spinoff. 

The new trailer is considerably more action-packed as we get more hints about the film's plot, which does seem inspired by real-world events as it will see the Duke of Oxford (Ralph Fiennes) assembling a team of unexpected heroes, including Conrad (Harris Dickinson), Mata Hari (Gemma Arterton) and Shola (Djimon Hounsou), for a mission to stop Grigori Rasputin (Rhys Ifans) and save the world from a war that could kill millions across the globe. 

The film's star cast will feature Ralph Fiennes as the Duke of Oxford, Harris Dickinson as Conrad, Daniel Brühl as Felix Yusupov, Rhys Ifans as Grigori Rasputin, Gemma Arterton as Mata Hari, Charles Dance as Field Marshal Haig, Matthew Goode as Tristan, Tom Hollander as George V/Wilhelm II/Nicholas II, Djimon Hounsou as Shola, Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Lee Unwin, Stanley Tucci as Merlin, Alison Steadman as Guinevere, Robert Aramayo as Gavrilo Princip, Alexandra Maria Lara as Polly and Joel Basman as Gawain.

I dig the change to a period film because things definitely felt flat at the end of the second film...Plus Ralph Fiennes! Yeah I’m there opening weekend...

At first I thought a Kingsmen prequel was a stupid idea, but I'll be damned this looks good. A nice little throwback to old action/adventure films.

@BlackBeltJones - I hope she returns in Kingsman 3. If Harry, Charlie and (probably) Merlin survived what happened to them, Roxy can and should survive from that blast somehow.

But, The Golden Circle would have been a lot better if she wasn't in it for only 10 minutes.
