It occurs to me as if it was only yesterday when the first trailer for the third installment of the much-loved Ant-Man franchise was released. I was doing my typical schoolwork until I went on Instagram and, wouldn't you know it, I was greeted with a pleasant surprise that was in the form of the long-awaited trailer...
The first teaser trailer of the film was compared to any other, laying out the groundwork by showing us the first glimpses of footage from the movie, and showing a lot to fans from all around the world what to expect, and believe me, I am expecting a lot: Scott's life post-Endgame, Kang, more of the Quantum Realm, and more!
Of course, the first thought that comes to any mind after watching a newly released trailer for a movie that is still months away is, "I want more".
Well, thanks to some insightful details regarding the release of the next trailer via MCU Direct,
"That new 'Exclusive Look' trailer will debut on ESPN at some point during the National College Football Championship game on Monday, January 9, which starts at 7:30 pm EST."
I am beyond excited for what more there is in store for us fans. From what had been established in the first trailer all those months ago, this next trailer will elaborate on what he had seen, thereby hooking us in more for this movie.
Now that the release date for the anticipated trailer has been provided, we can assume tickets will begin going on sale sometime shortly after the release of the trailer. Either from the moment the trailer is launched, ranging to after a week's worth of time has passed since. Whatever the case, be sure to get your tickets on time! I know I am.
What Will The Second Ant-Man Trailer Show Us?
As I had previously stated, I am beyond excited for when this trailer will drop, and I can only assume the footage of what we will see will be the same.
Of everything we can expect from the trailer, I would not be opposed to getting more shots of Kang in his signature design. We had first and only saw such a look from a pretty far away medium shot at the end of the first trailer, but you know us Marvel fans, we can never get enough.
A first official live-action look at MODOK would be very much appreciated, considering we have only seen the character based on his design from Funko Pop toys, and I am very optimistic that his look will be interesting.
What do you think? Are you just as excited as I am for the trailer? And the movie in general?
