After Men in Black 3, the franchise seemed as if it had come to an end, offering some closure to the franchise that started in 1997. There have been a few attempts to revitalize it since then, but with the Jump Street crossover, MIB 23, scrapped, it seems as though a vision to reboot the property is finally coming to light.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom's primary antagonist, Rafe Spall, is joining the growing ensemble of director F Gary Gray’s (Straight Outta Compton, The Fate of the Furious) latest project. The cast, led to by Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson, also includes Liam Neeson and Kumail Nanjiani in supporting roles. The uptick in casting news suggests that principal photography on the spin-off will be starting relatively soon.
The film, which will be focused on the London division of the Men in Black, has also added the Les Twins, an international dancing duo, to the production.
The film is expected to hit theaters on June 14th, 2019, with a script from Iron Man screenwriters Matt Holloway and Art Marcum.
