In Peter Jackson's ("Lord of the Rings") Upcoming film, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, The film continues the adventure of the hobbit Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman). He goes on a journey with the wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen)and thirteen dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage), on an epic quest to reclaim the lost dwarf kingdom of Erebor, from Smaug the dragon (Benedict Cumberbatch).















THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG is being directed by Peter Jackson ("Lord of the Rings") and will be released December 13, 2013. It Stars, Ian McKellen, Martin Freeman, Richard Armitage, Orlando Bloom, Benedict Cumberbatch, Evangeline Lilly, Cate Blanchett, Luke Evans, Lee Pace, Hugo Weaving, and Manu Bennett.
