TRANSFORMERS: RISE OF THE BEASTS Robosen Signature Series Optimus Prime & Grimlock Now Available For Pre-Order

Short of actual alien robots coming to Earth in search of a new home, the Robosen Signature Series limited edition Optimus Prime is probably the closest you'll come to having a Transformer of your very own.

The highly-detailed, 40 cm tall fully interactive model is based on the heroic Autobot leader's appearance in the current Transformers: Rise of the Beasts movie, and features exclusive dialogue from the legendary Peter Cullen, who returns to provide the voice of Prime in Rise of the Beasts.

The voice-activated Optimus Prime comes with a variety of accessories (see below), and is set-up for customizable movements using block-based or manual programming, allowing him to perform martial arts moves, dance and other cool poses on command. Plus, with the included stand, the robot can perform aerial maneuvers unrestricted by space limitations.

All you have to do is download the app, connect to the "Action Center" via Bluetooth, and you're ready to go.

You'll find a full list of specs and order details here, but don't hesitate if you are interested in purchasing, because there are only 3,000 of these beauties available worldwide.

We also have a first look at Robosen's latest release: The fully transforming Flagship Grimlock G1 robot (pre-order here).

“After seven years of research and development, we’re incredibly proud to have achieved seamless automatic transformation between Grimlock’s T-Rex form and his robot mode," said Rocky Luo, General Manager of Robosen Europe. "Equipped with 34 self-developed high-precision intelligent joints and high efficiency motors, it's also our most stable robot to-date, able to stride with confidence in either form for a fully immersive and fully interactive experience.

They are impressive but expensive. I'll have to stop buying graded comic books to afford them.
