R.I.P. Steve Jobs...
We might have lost one of the few visionaries and innovators of our time, but we should celebrate the great man he was, and all those he inspired, myself included.
No matter what your opinions are on Apple.

Rest In Peace and thank you very much sir.

A great man indeed. Comics and comic book movies have found its way in todays digital mobile generation because of the mobile devices which he successfully reinvented and popularized. Trying to make a connection I guess.

first off i have no idea what this has to do with comic movies its more of a tech piece of news and it bothers me that this site reports things that have nothing to do with what i come here for. yea, jobs died. hes been sick for years and its been on every news outlet ive turned to since it happened and you would think the guy was gahndi or something. he made i pods. thats it. then he turned it into a phone, then he turned it into a tablet. and kalabog your a [frick]ing moron.

I can't believe what I just read.
Did they really just use the death of Steve Jobs to promote they're website?

Why even mention they're website?

Sneaky. Very sneaky.

Funny how people want to say what does this have to do with comic book movies.. look at it this way. Toy Story and The Incredibles had a comic book so that makes them a comic book movie. He is responsible for Pixar... the studios which created those two COMIC BOOK MOVIES.. There. are you happy? its relevant to comic book movies.. Now stfu and show respect or get off the page starting stuff dumbasses
R.I.P. Steve Jobs

Why are there people saying this has 'no relevance'? How many of you are currently viewing this site on an Apple product, or a piece of tech inspired by one? How many of you have read digital comics on an iPad or other device invented by this man? I don't even own anything Apple related and I have an immense amount of respect for this man.

Comic books, and comic book movies, are almost always influenced by science. Characters like Bruce Wayne, aka Batman, and Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, created vast amounts of technology in their respective worlds. Technology that may never exist in reality. But men like Steve Jobs are the ones taking the steps towards those marvels of technology.

He created one of the first commercially available computers, AND was one of the first (or at least more well known) rivals to Microsoft. This rivalry has kept technology evolving in a game of one-upmanship that can only really benefit the public (and could eventually see impossible software from comics and movies become possible, like JARVIS from Iron Man).

He was also one of the co-founders of Pixar, which has created movies like the Incredibles which were clearly based on comic book superheroes (Like the Fantastic 4). And it's perfectly relevant, as Disney own both Pixar and Marvel Entertainment.

How many of you use iTunes to listen to music, watch comic book movies, or anything else?

Where would we be technologically today if Steve Jobs hadn't upped the game? There may not have been a comicbookmovie.com to even visit, maybe the tech wouldn't have been invented if it weren't for Steve's input or rivalry.

RIP Steve Jobs

Yeah, and Jobs was a majority shareholder in Disney, which owns Marvel.

@ash. i only opened the link to the page so i could leave the comment about its uselessness, and irrelevance to anything having to do with commic movies. its as useless as the bin laden is dead hing. this isnt a news outlet, its a comicbookmovie news outlet. note the name of the website your on, its not cnn.com.
