As one of the biggest spiderman fans there is heres my thought on the subject. I hate to say this but yes he would make a good spiderman why you ask? Think about this they can sign him for lests say six movies. Then they good have spidey grow up on screen. If they hire a well known actor to play the part wqould could have a different peterparker every to movies or so. I do think they need to be a little darker and not so kid freiendly. Venom was horrible in spiderman 3 and weve never even seen carnage. Why do the vulture im sorry that would suck rami was a good director and spiderman 2 was the bomb. Lets remeber the first one the green goblin looked like crap. Why not make him scarier like in the comics, and who wants a snagle tooth maryjane. With some many good storylines your going to use the vulture why not the lizard? Spiderman 4 was going to suck i think so im also ok with te reboot even though they probably wont be any good till will get a real venom. I hate to say this even zack efforn would be a good peter parker just so with can watch someone grow up on screen as withe the character. Just think how much spiderman 3 sucked it really really did. What they shouldve done was set up venom at the end and start him off in 4 rami dropped the ball and he didnt even like the greastest spidey villian ever. Spiderman to me is bigger then batman and im sick of all the dark knight fans out there. Why not make it more realistic even if you use the green goblin i mean come on a mettalic suit give me a break. Spiderman needs to take the thrown back i think people are even excited about iron man than spiderman now. I hope this reboot will get him back to the top.

Many thanks to all! I didn't feel the need to argue with the co-host. I have issues with Raimi's movies, but the pluses by far outweigh the minuses. At least that is true for the first two. The first film opened the door for the superhero genre to not only enter the mainstream, but dominate it. We all have our favorites. It's more important that we support that which we can afford so we do not go another decade or more without capes, webs, and armors on screen.
My goal was to spotlight Jim's website which we can all be grateful it is so shared and interactive.

As to who I am, I'm one of you and have enjoyed editing this site for nearly a year.
Thanks again for the compliments, but without Jim there's a good chance none of us would be chatting.
