A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first Human ever selected: Hal Jordan.

Hal is a gifted and cocky test pilot, but the Green Lanterns have little respect for humans, who have never harnessed the infinite powers of the ring before. But Hal is clearly the missing piece to the puzzle, and along with his determination and willpower, he has one thing no member of the Corps has ever had: humanity. With the encouragement of fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart Carol Ferris, if Hal can quickly master his new powers and find the courage to overcome his fears, he may prove to be not only the key to defeating Parallax… he will become the greatest Green Lantern of all.

The Avengers , Thor and CA:TFA can be great. But not great as Batman. But I think Marvel is making it happen. DC is only thinking about this now. WW , Flash and Aquaman wasn´t oannounced yet. JL maybe don´t happen.

Marvel has been taking the intiative for the past fifteen years. DC may have began the idea that CBMs can be taken seriously, but imo, Marvel is starting to perfect.
they have shooting out rapid fire films to see which ones work and which ines don't. Elektra, War Zone, Fantastic Four, and (some) X-men aside, they have succeeded.
it took some working, but when Marvel FINALLY started to distribute their own films, their quality skyrocketed.
DC/WB on the other hand, have been sitting on a plethora of CBM potential and have just realized haow far they can go. DC has mainly been focusing on Superman and Batman, who as everyone knows, are there posterboys. every other film they have released has either been lackluster or just downright SUCKED. (see The Losers and Jonah hex for future reference.).
so yeah, my vote is going to Marvel on this one.

@ dave nichols dc entertainment needs to branch out more all we've had from them is batman(icon)superman(icon)green lantern(icon coming)......jonah hex.
why did they even bother with jonah hex, when the flash, wonder woman, aquaman all get put on the back burner.
marvel have got everything going their way,we've had spider-man,x-men,wolverine,fantastic four, blade, daredevil, ghost rider, punisher, elektra, hulk & ironman they've had their main stars portrayed on screen even if some of the films had turned out shit.
just think as well whats coming from marvel thor, captain america,x-men first class, spiderman reboot, fantastic four reborn, the avengers & deadpool.

In the long run DC seems much more prominent. Two years from now Marvel will have used up all of its A-list characters, whereas DC is still years away from reaching its peak....DC all the way!!!

I don;t like the Marvel movies although Spiderman and Ironman were good films Nolan's batman series are in a totally different more intensive level. DC are better at story telling i.e The Batman Begins series and to some extent Donner's Superman (some not all). Whereas Marvel are all about the thrills and FX etc e.g Wolverine Origins I thought that was awful, X-men series at first seemed cool but from a storytelling angle weren't brilliant.

If the above list were true/factual then for certain DC would come out on top without a doubt. As long as they have good writers and directors such as Nolan.

Marvel, even though I'm more of a DC. Because, like tea said, everything beyond Man of Steel/Bats 3/GL for DC is speculation and assumption.

I'm with you, NightAvenger.I pick both.Once all their ducks are lined up, it seems like we'll be getting at least two films a year from each studio, not to mention the films that Fox, Sony and whatever other company has projects puts out.

most does not make better

marvel is rushing titles, avengers has too many characters in it for a two hour film

overconfidence but yet ambitious on marvels part
