There are two highly anticipated films arriving in 2011, Kenneth Branagh's Thor and Martin Campbell's Green Lantern. Over the past years of speculation and dissapointments, many comic boof fans try to share thoughts on how Thor and Green Lantern should look like whether on screen or posters. There were countless youtube fan-made videos of both films. Though the most expressive form fans try to convey their beloved characters is through art and that means posters.

Personally, I am a devoted fan to the Norse mythology or Marvel portrayal of Thor and to me, Thor will be the victor in 2011, however Green Lantern may surprise us.

Today I discovered yet another fan-made photo from FilmSchoolRejects website and this one is for Ryan Reynolds Green Lantern:



This is a new fan attempt that just came in a few hours ago.

With all of these fan-made posters or movie trailers being presented throughout the web, which one shall come so close to the director's vision in translating such iconic characters to the big screen?

i don't like the fur on Thor. he needs to have a costume that looks more like the comics version and not the Norse God version of Thor.

CBM: Would it be possible to put a "comic tab"? I think any one on here that makes film reviews would appreciate it if there was a "comic tab" so that our film reviews don't get flushed by hundreds of comic related articles.

I've seen the Thor poster in my "surfing" and it's pretty cool. The GL one isn't bad, but it's a bit bright.

Definitely like the Thor poster better but both are pretty cool. I have no artistic talent so I am always impressed by fan made stuff that comes close to looking professional.

I would like to throw in a vote for a comics tab as well

That thor one has been floating around for awhile. i actually like the GL one. the mask is a little week they'll need to figure out something there

I like both posters pretty well, but I'm a bigger fan of the Green Lantern one.

AND

I'm not sure that I can really make out the brightness that some people are talking about P:).

Wow... I honestly don't like either of these posters. The Thor one looks like a promo for a crappy Sci Fi channel version of the character.

The GL one is jsut a modified version of the old Reynolds as GL pic that has been floating around. The pic is just manipulated onto a an old 'Armagedon' pic.
