These are most of the Super Hero-themed ones. They are both from Marvel and DC characters, along with Hellboy, TMNT and other cool stuff:
BATMAN REBORN (This seems to be the new storyline after the events of "Battle for the Cowl"!!)
Things in Gotham City haven’t quite been the same since Bruce Wayne disappeared. Commissioner Gordon isn’t alone in suspecting that there’s someone new under the cowl and cape – along with a new and unpredictable Boy Wonder. A fiery redhead calling herself Batwoman has taken on the underworld. Catwoman has been seen in the company of Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn. And disturbing reports of a dark avenger answering to Red Robin are coming in from Europe. It’s “Batman Reborn,” ushering in a new era in the saga of The Dark Knight and unfolding monthly in the pages of the all-new Batman and Robin, Batman, Detective Comics, Red Robin, Batman: Streets of Gotham and Gotham City Sirens.
CAPTAIN AMERICA (looks like Reborn-themed??, but they don´t mention his death)
In the days of World War II, frail Steve Rogers volunteered for an experiment that gave him peak human physical abilities. With his indestructible shield in hand and partner Bucky at his side, Rogers became Captain America, a living symbol of freedom worldwide. After being frozen in arctic waters near the end of the war, Cap was revived by the heroic Avengers years later to inspire a new generation.
HELLBOY (animated)
HULK (don´t know which storyline it reflects, if any)
When scientist Bruce Banner rushed to save teenager Rick Jones from an experimental Gamma Bomb, the resulting explosion bathed him in radiation and unleashed his inner rage as the inhumanly strong Hulk. Through the years, the Hulk has undergone many changes and been both a beloved hero and hunted monster.
IRON MAN (armored animated series-themed?)
Captured behind enemy lines while attempting to sell weapons of war, billionaire industrialist Tony Stark constructed a suit of armor which he used to gain his freedom. Returning home with a newfound devotion to make his life matter, Stark uses the armor as Iron Man, a hero and force for good.
SUPERMAN ( WORLD OF KRIPTON)
There’s a new world in our solar system – the world of New Krypton. Its inhabitants – 100,000 strong and each with the powers of Superman – say they want peaceful coexistence with Earth. Are they telling the truth? That’s what the Man of Steel intends to find out – every month in the pages of Superman, Supergirl, Action Comics and the Superman: World of New Krypton mini-series!
TMNT
WILDSTORM
WildStorm was founded by acclaimed comic book artist Jim Lee in 1992 and acquired by DC Comics in 1998, strengthening both the imprint's ability to expand its editorial goals and diversifying DC's publishing portfolio. Created for readers seeking something unconventional, WildStorm series such as WildCATS, Gen13,The Authority, Planetary and Ex Machina chronicle the adventures of a different breed of super heroes and the worlds in which they live – and sometimes die. WildStorm also leads the wave in the creation of comics and graphic novels based on the world’s most popular licensed properties including World of Warcraft, Gears of War, Fringe and Resident Evil.
WONDER WOMAN (and Women from the DCU)
BLACKEST NIGHT (the coolest in my opinion)
In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape his sight. But what happens when long-dead heroes and villains rise up and threaten not just Hal Jordan and his fellow Green Lanterns, but the entire universe? Will the combined might of the World’s Greatest Super-Heroes be enough to save the day? Find out in the pages of Blackest Night, the year’s most talked about new limited series by comics superstars Geoff Johns and Ivan Reis!
They come along with an introduction to the storyline they are inspired from, i just extracted a few.
It is very nice and very cool that the whole world takes notice of this ComicBook Universe.
