Phoenix Entertainment has announced that a live action Dilbert movie is in the works. The director attached to the project will be Ken Kwapsis.

Kwapsis' previous credit involves directing "He's Just Not That Into You", "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" and the upcoming groundbreaking "Everybody Loves Whales." But what gives Kwapsis some insight into a future Dilbert flick is that he's directed numerous episodes of the award winning sitcom 'The Office.'

I think I'd rather staple my balls to my office chair than see Dilbert on film.

I'm odd though, I worked in an office for a couple years after college and hated it so much I can't even watch "The Office" and the experience ruined "Office Space" for me.... sniff, it took my Red Stapler.

I for one would love to see Dilbert brought to life! The Drew Carey Show is my all time favorite sitcom, and it really doesn't have anything in common with Dilbert (although Drew did have plush Dilbert dolls in his cubicle). Drew has vocally expressed his love for the character and has gone on record saying he'd love to play Dilbert in a movie. He'd be perfect :)

I can't wait to hear more about this.

This is... retarded news. The Dilbert cartoon was okay but seriously, imagine a guy (with a mouth!) and a flipped up tie.

Just... retarded.
