NOAH - Official Featurette - "Tubal Cain"

Paramount has just released a new featurette for Darren Aronofsky's Noah that focuses on his adversary, Tubal-Cain (played by Ray Winstone). The character comes from the bible and was the descendant of Cain, the first murderer.

NOAH is a close adaptation of the Biblical story of Noah’s Ark. In a world ravaged by human sin, Noah is given a divine mission: to build an Ark to save creation from the coming flood. The screenplay was written by Darren Aronofsky and Ari Handel and revised by Academy Award®-nominated screenwriter John Logan (GLADIATOR, HUGO). Scott Franklin and Aronofsky of Protozoa Pictures, along with Mary Parent of Disruption Entertainment, will produce the film. The film will be executive produced by Ari Handel (BLACK SWAN), Arnon Milchan of New Regency and Chris Brigham (INCEPTION, ARGO).

Noah is directed by Darren Aronofsky ("The Wrestler"), and stars Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Emma Watson, Ray Winstone, Logan Lerman, Douglas Booth and Anthony Hopkins. It floods theaters March 28th, 2014.

Thanks for the post but I don't get why we care about this movie on a CBM site. There have been daily Noah updates and I just don't see the connection. Is there a Noah comic book?

I got to see a private screening of this Monday night,since my uncle runs a theater here in my town.It has almost nothing to do with the Bible,besides having a some names taking from it.It's an okay movie,reminds me of Waterworld.

I would not waste my money on it though,and just wait till it comes out on dvd, or watch it online for free.

@Donekin
Yes, this movie is based on a graphic novel, which is itself based on the Bible tale (pretty loosely I believe, though I haven't actually read the graphic novel).

Pretty soon here, this comment section is gonna be littered with people making jokes about "fairy tales" or "ridiculous stories" or "silliness." Because you know, [frick] people and their beliefs, right? If you're religious, you're not supposed to be happy and you should be made fun of and feel stupid. Atheists are obviously much better people!

As ChanchoMcGrady just said, it's based on Aronofsky's graphic novel.

And even if it weren't, does it matter? CBM.com doesn't deal exclusively with comic book movies. Hence all the updates on The Hobbit movies, Star Wars, Hunger Games, ect. CBM is just a name, folks. This is getting tedious to have to explain over and over again.

Ooh watch out Christians, someone's making fun of your beliefs. Looks like you were wrong all along about there being a God! Better just kill yourselves, because you're obviously worthless wastes of air for believing something like this.

"Doesn't this site that deals with movie news have an administator that could stop a writer and editor from writing and posting about movies?"

That's pretty much what you just said. The idiocy is spreading. Bravado gets banned, and more just take his place. Ugh.

@jimdotbeep
Why? Firstly, the movie is based more specifically on the graphic novel, not the Old Testament (or Torah if you're Jewish) story which the novel draws from.

And even if it wasn't based on a comic, CBM is just a name. Should the New York Times stop reporting world news? It's named the "New York" Times after all, not the "World" Times. Maybe Facebook should stop letting people post pictures of things other than faces? CBM is a site for all kinds of geek-related news, which, as @SauronsBane1 mentioned, is why you see things related to The Hunger Games, The Hobbit, The Last of Us, etc. even though those aren't based off comics.

Anyway, what do you care? If an article doesn't interest you, don't click on it! You don't have to read everything on the main page, you know.
