REAL LIFE: President Barack Obama Battles Spider-Man In The White House

BREAKING: President Barack Obama has been attacked by the Superior Spider-Man! Well, not exactly. In this charming photo taken in the White House, Obama plays along when a child (dressed as Spidey) of one his staffers "attacked" him. Check it out!

There's not a lot you can say about this photo from White House photographer Pete Souza (spotted by MTV Geek). However, it does show what a good sport the President of the United States is as he played along when the son of one of his staffers (dressed a Spider-Man) pretended to shoot a web in his direction! By the way, we have checked, and no, this wasn't Obama's attempt to audtion for the role of Electro in Marc Webb's highly anticipated Amazing Spider-Man sequel!

wonder why it would've been an 'Electro' tryout, vs. any other role?

oh.
I see.

@fettastic I'll go there.
he wouldve strapped the kid to the top of his limo or air force one.

This is great on so many levels. Obama's a genuinely good guy, but it's also great that that kid can be a kid growing up in that stiff and serious environment. Must have good parents.

Bravo.

I'm surprised how nobody pays attention to anything else that happens outside America. Storm in the phillipines, and everybody's still going boo-hoo about how "horrible" Sandy was.
Phooey.

Yes that's right. Shame on Obama for enjoying the company of a child after a mass shooting at a school. [frick]ing prick....

I don't like Obama but he had nothing to do with the shooting, neither did video games or being able to buy guns. The shooter was in his 20's living with his mom. He was always taken care of, he never learned personal responsibility. His mom tried to finally kick the 26 year old basement dweller out and he snapped. Bad parenting is the reason for all this. People have to learn to take care of themselves and learn personal responsibility.

This is so obviously not a candid shot. It is staged so the press can eat it up. Looks like the great diversion is working again.
