Hello friends and True Believers. This is one of my fun blogs where I talk about something we all like, Replicas. The items from our cherished comic book worlds brought to life by great creative teams in order to sell either promotional material like the Green Lantern Rings or for collecting like the Mjlonir or Storm breaker hammers. Again I bring up both Marvel and DC because they seem to give out some great material, although DC seems to make cooler stuff(I'm seriously beginning to think that I'm a DC fan, but I still like Marvel too).

With that said I'm gonna do a top 10 list of props and replicas from Marvel and DC(5 per company). I'm not counting toys or secondary items like lunch boxes or book-ends, those sort of items, I'm talking about stuff you see in the comics or the movies. Okay I'm gonna start with DC, here we go

#5. Skeets from Booster Gold: Now I only seen him in the animated series Justice League Unlimited and a few chapters of the series 52, and from the look of the character he looks cool. From what I have gathered, he is Booster Golds partner and sidekick from the 25th century who came back in time to fight crime and become famous, and skeet has a lot of information about the past in order to gain an advantage over bad guys.

#4. The Blue Beetle Scarab from Blue Beetle/Teen Titans: I'm reading the series of the new Blue Beetle and I'm enjoying it. The beetle as many have read has given Jaime Reyes an alien power suit that gives him awesome abilities and powers.

#3. The Legion flight rings: now I only seen them in the cartoon series Legion of Super Heroes and they were pretty cool looking.

#2. Alan Scott's sword from Kingdom Come: loved the look and design of in. Im sure we could see it on trueswords.com or something like that

#1. Mother Box from the New Gods: A cool little device that does some much for these beings. I would love to have on my bookshelf

Next up is Marvel, These will be short and sweet except for one where I got a great idea to do with. lol.

#5.The Cosmic Cube- I seen and heard about this thing. Its able to make any wish into reality, irrespective of the consequences.

#4. The Eye of Agamotto: the necklace Dr Strange and the new Sorcerer Supreme Jericho Drumm

#3. Green Goblin Pumpkin Bomb: now technically theses do exist but they are from spider-man 3, but I'm not counting the movies so HA. I would like to see the old school comic versions.

#2. The Twilight Sword: I seen it in the Free Comic book Day comic The Avengers. It looked really cool.

#1. The Makluan Rings aka The Mandarin's 10 rings: these rings are awesome and bad-ass at the same time. Each bearing a cool and special power, they gave the Mandarin great power.

Now I mentioned one of Marvel's props would be a cool thing to do and its the Makluan rings. If Marvel ever decided to revive this great character, they should do a major tie-in event where 10 series, where one issue per series gets you one for each finger, obviously a one size fit all per ring. You all can say that this is the same thing that DC did with Blackest night and that was a huge hit, but hey theres something called friendly competition.

There are my 10 cool props and replicas I would like to see in the future. Til next time, BlackAirs out!

every where I look on line that Mjlonir is sold out. that sucks, and I mean 616 mjlonir, not the Ultimates version. I like it but you cant beat the original

How do you make a ring that is "one size fits all"? I'd actually just like to find a Green Lantern ring that doesn't suck, haha.

Great list dude! I see lots of stuff I'd love to have on display!

Interesting.
For DC I would take
*Batman's utility belt (from the comics not the movie).
*Flash's ring.
*Golden Age Flash's helmet.
*Jason Todd's Red Hood Helmet.
*Ozymandias's Mask.

For Marvel
*Iron Man's chestpiece
*The Ultimate Nullifier
*Dr. Doom's mask
*Ant-Man's helmet
*Cyclops's Visors.
