The best is not always the same as your favorite unfortunately.

Its not fair to not put Hellboy 1 & 2. No one should show
bias in a journalistic type article. That is bad
journalism. But still they aren't number one contenders
anyway.

Of course neither is Ghost Rider or Cat Woman. The latter
is the worst CBM ever made in my humble opinion!

But I'm strictly a Marvel Man so I had to go with the
best marvel movie ever made so far, IRONMAN!!!

But I think in this case my favorite IS number one, IRONMAN.
It stayed the truest to the soul and heart of the comic book
character.

Dark Knight and Watchmen strayed a bit!

So has Spiderman. Peter Parker is a lot more confident
in his character than Tobey portrays him. And the
Mary Jane choice is so far from right its totally WRONG!

Dude, 1998 isn't part of the last decade?

Anyway, I voted for TDk.

its not bad journalism when the title of the article clearly states that this is for MARVEL and DC movies. if it said "best CBM's" and he left out hellboy, then that would be different. thats like saying its bad journalism to leave out non-CBM movies. even though the title says CBM's.

although putting Blade (1998) in IS bad journalism...considering 1998 wasn't part of this decade, lol.

Yes, I think Iron Man is thbest comic book mie ever made, as I feel they nailed the character. While I liked Begins/Dark Knight, I can't say those films represent the Batman that I know.

I liked Spider-Man 1/2, but there as aspects of the character they didn't get right. The main thing is no matter how much crap is thrown at Peter, he always keeps an upbeat attitude, constantly making jokes.Maguire's Peter is a bit whiny for me.

X-Men 1/2 are good films, yet they really didn't get any of the characters right.

Anyway, I think Iron Man, Watchmen and Sin City are the best comic book films ever made, but since it's Marvel/DC, I have to go with Iron Man.

In addition to the other gripes, why include all the crap movies? Nobody is going to vote for Catwoman or Elektra unless they are being spiteful. Or Manthing! That's as much a waste of film as the original FF, or the JLA craptastic movie. Why not have Push on the list. It's Wildstorm, which is technically a DC imprint. Or History of Violence, which was printed by both Paradox, another imprint of DC. This list is incomplete, therefore I will not vote. But since I don't want to come off too douchey, I'll vote Ironman. It was close between IM and the Dark Knight, and Watchmen, and X2, and Batman Begins, and Spider-man...shit, I just hope DC and Marvel come out with more good movies and not so many stinkers!

Corndog@ you didn't get my point.
Its bad journalism to be partial period!
So making it only DC and Marvel is bias
journalism. This site is supposed to be
journalism for CBM'S isn't it? Or is
this just a rag and people can just throw
away certain companies 'cause they don't fit
their preference. That is bad journalism and
I'm right as rain!

@ DDD

it would be bad journalism if this were a NEWS article, but it isn't.

@ Ozy

what didn't you like about iron man???????? it had everthing (action, humor, a good plot, good special effects, and good acting) AND it was very faithful.

both saying iron man is overrated and watchmen for #1 film is dumb
