Seth Grahame-Smith, best known for his writing credits on pulp fiction books
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and
Abraham Lincoln:Vampire Hunter, has won the rights to reboot
Beetlejuice. Having signed a two-year contract with Warner Bros., Smith and his production partner David Katzenberg plan to helm the project under their joint company, KatzSmith. Although no further information about the upcoming film has been released, Smith's previous work as a comedic writer almost guarantees that this film will stick to the humor of Tim Burton's original masterpiece.
