We all figured Star Wars Celebration Orlando would be the first time we got to see something from Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and director Rian Johnson has confirmed that he will indeed be there along with Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy on Friday, April 14, for a special panel discussion.

Full details on what the panel will entail are still under wraps, but it's expected to feature "a few surprises and special guests", and we will almost certainly see some kind of showcase reel or BTS footage from the film itself.

To mark the occasion, Johnson has shared a new black and white image of some First Order Stormtroopers on the set of The Last Jedi.

So excited for this, most likely going to be the best out of this trilogy.

Can anyone see who that storm trooper is with the helmet up? Curious if it is some kind of tease or just a dude randomly taking his helmet off lol.

Really excited for this next film. I liked Force Awakens despite it's regurgitated Star Wars plot points, but I'm hoping Last Jedi can move confidently enough to give us something fresh.

Rian Johnson's episodes of Breaking Bad were some of the best episodes of television I've ever seen. I'm really excited for TLJ.

Nice.

And I still think it looks like they have duck beaks.

@Fogs - ha.. I agree. I prefer the older designs.

@Fogs - I wish they modernized the stormtrooper more. The whole nostalgia recycling made these look what they were in A New Hope: a low budget 80s sci fi design
