Fringe Renewed For a Fourth Season

Fringe Renewed For a Fourth Season

When Fox moved Fringe to Friday nights and the purported "death slot," coupled with the fact that last week the show hit a series low in the ratings, the fans began fearing that the show would be canceled at the end of this season. Well, nothing could be further from the truth.

It's been reported that not only is the show coming back for a fourth season, but Fox has picked it up for a full 22 episodes. There can be not greater show of faith in a show on a network's part than that.

Congrats to the cast and crew of Fringe, one of television's most innovative shows.

Good for them. I just started watching it again, and it's great. I'm glad there's still shows on television like this, as opposed to another show about cops, lawyers, doctors, who can lose the most weight, win the most money, or be the biggest douche.

This seems like a mixed blessing. Hopefully they do not drag out the war between the dimensions for another season, that would suck. Alternatively, it would be nice if they played it simple next season and did more freak of the week stuff instead of such a heavy season long arc.

Once the war is over the show is really going to change. If it ends how I think it will (Crisis on Infinite Earths) then next season will be very interesting.

Also, get rid of Bell, Olivia Bell is a retarded retcon that totally screws with everything we've been told about William Bell. The last episode really did deserve low ratings.
