Joshua Jackson: "Fans Should Start 'Save Fringe' Campaign"

There were a lot of worries expresed by Fringe fans when the show moved to Friday nights, and for two weeks the ratings soared - but then they dropped and now series star Joshua Jackson is suggesting that the "save Fringe" campaign get started.

“I’m a positive person in general, but we really need our Fringe fans to tune in and watch us on Fridays,” Jackson tells Entertainment Weekly. “We did good when we first moved, but last week we did not have a good week, ratings wise. It is going to take the people that like the show to watch the show and start the campaign and show their support if they want to see us stick around for another season.”

DVR numbers are very encouraging, but they're not the same as ratings. People need to actually watch the show when it airs Friday nights at 9PM.

Support Fringe, one of the most innovative shows on television.

I love this show. It would suck if it got cancelled. They're at such a critical point in the story too.

@weneedrevelation...are you suggesting that EMH is a failure? From what I understand it's doing really well.

I watch every Friday at 9pm on the dot, it washes the bad taste of Smallville out of my mind. As long as the show gets a proper end I would not be too upset/angry if it were canceled, it would be Fox's loss. If they were to end it early and not even wrap up the current storyline when it seems like it is so close that would piss me off.

The ONLY show worth watching on Fox, and Fox wants to cut it. Typical Fox BS.

Best show on tv, I can't even imagine it being canceled. I think it's a shame though that Jackson never gets any credit. I guess it's cause the rest of the cast is so strong but he's really good in that role.

This is the best show that no one watches. It figures in our time of nascar and professional wrestling that shows like this have no hope. That Idiocracy movie is like the nostradamus of movies.

NASCAR is a low blow, it is just as much of a sport as baseball, and about equally as exciting(that was a bash on baseball and NASCAR) but it does not deserve to be lumped in with wrestling.

how do they even know if you ARE watching this (oar any other show!) if you only have broadcast TV? I love this show, but I bet Fox pulls the plug by the end of this sesson (sigh). To bad Nimoy retired, his role of William Bell was so good!

Friday Death Night.......Fox did the same thing with Terminator and looked what happened with that. "Lets kill every show that cool because everybody uses DVR and dosen't watch the commercial's." Fringe is a really good show thats going to be canned because of money (just like Terminator and Firefly). I know money rules the world, so don't criticise my last comment, but common Fox. Don't get rid of a show because the real time ratings are lower the the DVR's. Also, Friday Nights!!!!!! It has been proven time and time again, that night dosen't work for any show. It's just Fox's way to give us fan the big middle finger. I say boycott Fox. All they do is give us a taste of something good and then take it away. Screw 'em.

EVERY Character in the show is Interesting EXCEPT for Olivia...

I'm getting Tired of her SFOT SPOKEN Behind.

I mean EVERYONE else is entertaining except her.

The focus needs to always stay on Peter because she gets on my nerves...

Too many issues and just irritating.

I think all the characters are great. That Walter is transitioning back to his old self and that it is noticeable speaks to Noble's talent, but I will definitely miss the original Walter.

Olivia being soft spoken is part of the story, the Cortexifan kids were trained/taught/brainwashed to not stand out.
