B.D. Wong's 'Dr. Henry Wu' Returns In New JURASSIC WORLD Still
"You just went and made a new dinosaur? Probably not a good idea..." - After managing to escape the park back in 1993, Dr. Henry Wu has found his way back to Isla Nublar and if the past is anything to go by, it's likely he was on the team that created the Indominus Rex.. check out a new still now!
This June, Jurassic World is set to welcome a whole new generation of people to the famous Isla Nublar. The film features a whole new cast featuring Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy), Bryce Dallas Howard (Spider-Man 3), Vincent D'Onofrio (Daredevil), Jake Johnson (Let's Be Cops), Irrfan Khan (Life Of Pi), Nick Robinson (The Kings Of Summer), Ty Simpkins (Iron Man 3), Omar Sy (X-Men: Days Of Future Past), Brian Tee (The Wolverine), and Judy Greer (Ant-Man) in key roles led by director Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed).
When it was announced the film would be set in the original universe created by Steven Spielberg & Michael Crichton in 1993, many fans were hoping to see a few Jurassic Park alums show up in the upcoming sequel, but unfortunately, unless they show up in surprise cameos, Jurassic Park stars Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum aren't expected to be back. However, there is someone that starred in the first film that is expected to be back: B.D. Wong! In case you needed a refresher, he played Dr. Henry Wu, the chief genetic engineer of InGen who was key to re-creating the dinosaurs at Jurassic Park. He was a major character in the book, but had a much more limited role in the movie, maybe his role will be a bit expanded this time around?
