Colin Trevorrow Shares A New Look At JURASSIC WORLD: DOMINION As He Continues To Work On The Film From Home

With London currently shut down due to the worldwide coronavirus pandemic, Jurassic World: Dominion was one of many films forced to halt production. However, that doesn't mean work has completely stopped.

Jurassic World: Dominion was among many high profile projects to shut down production over the past month due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and with an end date to the outbreak crisis seemingly nowhere in sight, it looks like one of the most hotly awaited films of 2021 will stay on ice for the foreseeable future.

Even though the movie had only been shooting for a little under three weeks when production was halted (well short of its expected three-month schedule), it looks like director Colin Trevorrow may have had just enough footage to continue working on the film, albeit in a limited capacity, from his home computer.

It's hard to make out exactly what's on his screen, but there is one character who seems to be pushing his bicycle away from what appears to be a giant hole in the ground. With dinosaurs now running free and their DNA accessible to a number of different nefarious corporations, could the new film go a little more dystopian than we may have anticipated?

The star-studded cast of Jurassic World: Dominion will feature several Jurassic alums, including Chris Pratt (Owen Grady), Bryce Dallas Howard (Claire Dearing), 3x Golden Globe-nominee Sam Neill (Alan Grant), Academy Award-winner Laura Dern (Ellie Sattler), Academy Award-nominee Jeff Goldblum (Ian Malcolm), Jake Johnson (Lowery Cruthers), Omar Sy (Barry Sembane), Justice Smith (Franklin Webb), Daniella Pineda (Zia Rodriguez) and Isabella Sermon (Maisie Lockwood).

Newcomers to the franchise include Mamoudou Athie (Sorry for Your Loss), DeWanda Wise (She's Gotta Have It), Dichen Lachman (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) and Scott Haze (Venom). Details on their roles are currently being kept under wraps.

For now, Jurassic World: Dominion is still slated to roar into theaters on June 11, 2021, but depending on when production is able to safely resume, there is a strong possibility it will be among many 2021 blockbusters to have their release dates shifted to later in the year or into 2022.

Working from home. #JurassicWorld

This franchise is so close to going full Fast Furious. At this point just do it. We’re a long way from the masterpiece of the classic film
