Collider is reporting that both Justice Smith and Daniella Pineda will return for Universal Pictures' highly anticipated
Jurassic World 3, reprising their roles as Franklin Webb and Zia Rodriguez from J.A. Bayona's billion-dollar blockbuster,
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
Smith and Pineda are the latest returning faces for the sequel, joining headliners Chris Pratt (Owen Grady) and Bryce Dallas Howard (Claire Dearing) and returning
Jurassic Park alums Sam Neill (Alan Grant), Laura Dern (Ellie Sattler) and Jeff Goldblum (Ian Malcolm). Mamoudou Athie (
Sorry for Your Loss) and DeWanda Wise (
She's Gotta Have It) also recently joined the cast in leading roles.
Filming is expected to commence in London next February with Colin Trevorrow back in the director's chair, utilizing a script he co-wrote alongside Emily Carmichael (
Battle at Big Rock).
Jurassic World 3 opens in theaters on June 11, 2021.
