JURASSIC WORLD: DOMINION Stills See The T-Rex & Giga Squaring Up For A Rematch 65 Million Years In The Making

With tickets now available and a brand new trailer dominating the interwebs, the countdown is officially on for Colin Trevorrow's highly anticipated Jurassic World: Dominion, which will bring the Jurassic saga to a close as the original cast returns to lend their successors a helping hand in a last ditch effort save the world from complete dinosaur mayhem.

The blockbuster threequel is expected to pick up about four years after the world-altering events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which saw John Hammond's magnificant creations released into the world, where they've since multiplied in massive numbers and started taking back the land they ruled over 65 million years ago.

As seen in The Prologue last year, the Giganotosaurus took out a Tyrannosaurus - presumably the ancestor Rexy was cloned from - pretty soundly, and this new batch of stills finally allow us to get a preview of what should be one helluva rematch. One thing to note is that the still does seem to take place during the day, so this could just be one of many confrontations we'll see throughout the course of the movie as the final battle is expected to play out at night.

The star-studded cast of the Dominion will feature Jurassic alums Chris Pratt (Owen Grady), Bryce Dallas Howard (Claire Dearing), 3x Golden Globe-nominee Sam Neill (Alan Grant), Academy Award-winner Laura Dern (Ellie Sattler), Academy Award-nominee Jeff Goldblum (Ian Malcolm), Jake Johnson (Lowery Cruthers), Omar Sy (Barry Sembane), Justice Smith (Franklin Webb), Daniella Pineda (Zia Rodriguez), Isabella Sermon (Maisie Lockwood), and BD Wong (Dr. Henry Wu).

Newcomers to the franchise include Mamoudou Athie (Sorry for Your Loss), DeWanda Wise (She's Gotta Have It), Dichen Lachman (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), and Scott Haze (Venom). Details on their roles are currently being kept under wraps. Campbell Scott (The Amazing Spider-Man) has also joined the cast as Dodgson.

Jurassic World: Dominion is slated to roar into theaters June 10!

This summer, experience the epic conclusion to the Jurassic era as two generations unite for the first time. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are joined by Oscar®-winner Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill in Jurassic World Dominion, a bold, timely and breathtaking new adventure that spans the globe. From Jurassic World architect and director Colin Trevorrow, Dominion takes place four years after Isla Nublar has been destroyed. Dinosaurs now live—and hunt—alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures.

Still unfortunate that the real animals are being turned into comic book villians with loads of inaccuracies but saying that I'm damn excited.

It looks really cool. But it really sucks that they added feathers to some of the dinos. they should have keep to the nice looking scaly dinos instead as they done for years. its 28 years ago since the first movie came out. that's insane xD Hope this will still be good. are a little worried how the giga will behave since they said its inspired from the Batman's Joker

Thank goodness that the Dinosaurs recognize land borders and have left Canada and Mexico alone in their North American invasion. A shame both countries seem to have fallen into the ocean though.

Honestly, just go the route of a post apocalyptic age where human beings are dying due to a dinosaur transmitted virus, maybe 5% of the population is left, and that dinosaurs are ruling the earth again. That's more interesting than this shit.

Human beings and dinosaurs cannot coexists. Every mammal in that world is [frick]ing screwed. This is a stupid idea.
