JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM Trailer Will Reportedly Debut With STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI

It appears as though we may have just gotten official confirmation about when we'll get our first look at the eagerly awaited teaser trailer for Universal's Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom! Check it out!

While many, including myself, were expecting a Thanksgiving Day release, it appears as though we'll have to wait just a little bit longer to get our first look at Universal's highly anticipated Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

According to the good folks at @dirtees, who over this past week attended Brand Licensing Europe 2017 and were present during the Universal Pictures presentation on Wednesday, the first teaser trailer for J.A. Bayona's Jurassic World:
Fallen Kingdom will arrive on December 13 and will then be attached to screenings of Lucasfilm's Star Wars: The Last Jedi, starting that same weekend.

Now, while that aforementioned date is, of course, subject to change as big trailers do tend to be released online a tad earlier than their intended theatrical launch dates, it does make sense that arguably the biggest film of 2018 would want to debut its first look with arguably the biggest film on the 2017 calendar. This will also kickstart a lengthy six-month marketing campaign as the studio prepares us for the sequel to one of the biggest blockbusters of all-time.

Regardless, stay tuned into CBM and/or my Twitter for all your breaking Jurassic World updates as they happen.

With all of the wonder, adventure and thrills synonymous with one of the most popular and successful franchises in cinema history, this all-new motion-picture event sees the return of favorite characters and dinosaurs—along with new breeds more awe-inspiring and terrifying than ever before. Welcome to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

Really interested to see where they go with this one. We've had the 'dinosaurs break loose and wreak havoc in the theme park' film twice, and the 'dinosaurs hunt really stupid humans in the jungle' film twice. Where to next? I hope it's not the whole military angle.

Here's an idea that's relevant to the times we're living in. What about a terrorist cell that has captured the roaming dinosaurs from the island (because people gave up and just left it there again) and is using them to make attacks in major cities. One at a time. And they have to not only stop the dinos from killing more people when they're set loose, but also track down the terrorists before another attack? Have a t rex attack let loose in a football stadium. Raptors in an apartment high rise. Some giant swiming [frick]er at a popular beach. Spinosaurus on the streets of Dubai. I don't know. Could even just make it a group of criminals holding the world at ransom with the attacks.

I'm so bored with the island. Get those dinos back to the mainland. It doesn't even have to be in a park anymore. Last film introduced raptors as weapons. Let's ride those suckers into battle for a Jurassic War!
Or breed miniature versions and put them in every household for a Jurassic Pets movie!
Just stop telling the same story over and over.
