In the distant future, two superpowers control Earth and fight each other for all the solar system's natural resources. When one side dispatches a team to a distant planet to terraform it for human colonization, the team discovers an indigenous race of bio-mechanoid killers.

Ridley Scott, director of 'Alien' and 'Blade Runner,' returns to the genre he helped define. With PROMETHEUS, he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.



Starring Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba and Logan Marshall-Green, Prometheus is set to hit theatres on June 8th, 2012.

i was surprised not seeing the amazing spider-man & the dark knight rises trailers at the avengers.

you maybe right,i went with a mate & his son & i said to his boy before we went in that we'll probably see trailers for spider-man & batman,should of seen how excited he looked.

i dashed the boys hopes all in one go,the only good that came out of that day was he got to see the avengers & captain america figure.

imnotahero@ Im pretty sure it didnt show who dies and who not. It just showed lots of people dying but not revealed who they were.
And im pretty sure it didnt show how the movie ends soooo i think that answers in your question. ;)

@Marvel72 - Me too. Bladerunner is number one on my list. Alien is in the top ten. I've got a feeling this movie will be very special. All the ingredients are there for a classic.
