Rebecca Ferguson Being Eyed For Ridley Scott's PROMETHEUS Sequel
Fans hoping to see Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation actress Rebecca Ferguson suit up as Captain Marvel or some other superhero might be disappointed, as Deadline has posted a report on the projects she's in the mix for, and there's not a cape in sight...
A recent rumor suggested Rebecca Ferguson was on Marvel's radar for their Captain Marvel flick, but even if that was the case, it doesn't appear to be something she's in the mix for now if the following report from Deadline is anything to go by.
One thing she is in talks for is director Thomas Alfredson's adaptation of best-selling novel, The Snowman, opposite Michael Fassbender - and the site go on to make mention of several other projects she might be lining up after that.
The most interesting to you CBMers will surely be Ridley Scott's sequel to Prometheus (which may or may not stick with the title "Alien: Paradise Lost"), which Deadline reckon Ferguson is being heavily courted for. No "concrete talks" yet, but apparently the latest draft of the script is "very strong with a peach of a major female role" that the actress may well take an interest in.
Ferguson might well play a superhero one day, but it sounds like her card is pretty full for the foreseeable future. More at the link below.
