Second New Trailer Teaser For DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES Released

A new trailer for Matt Reeves' Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is set to be released this week, and 20th Century Fox have today unveiled another brief trailer teaser which offers up a few brief never before seen (and very cool) snippets of footage from the sequel. Check it out!

A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth¹s dominant species.



Directed by Matt Reeves, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes stars Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Toby Kebbell, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Enrique Murciano, Kirk Acevedo and Judy Greer. The movie is set for release on Memorial Day weekend, July 18th, 2014.

yeah, a trailer FOR the trailer...ridiculous. Not a good marketing tool in my opinion. Its more irritating than exciting.

A static banner or a simple press blurb would be better. Or just release the movie poster.

Apes riding horses! Doesn't get much better than this! This is one of the top non-superhero movies I've been looking forward to this year.

Planet of the Apes (2001) was good, Rise of the Planet of the Apes was great & hoping this one will be even better. Heck, I'm even a sucker for for the first 5 Planet of the Apes movies (1968 - 1973).

DOTPOTA is off to a good start seeing the apes ride horses! Not to mention Gary Oldman stars!
