We predict what J.J. may do now that he's cast Gwendoline Christie and we like it a lot!

If You've read the last round of Star Wars spoilers from Badass Digest, you'd know they believe that John Boyega's (Attack the Block) character in Episode VII will in fact be a rogue Storm Trooper who teams up with Daisy Ridley's female lead to go in search of Luke Skywalker. Well, now they have some more info on a different character who they reckon will tie in with Boyega's -- one who'll be played by Brienne of Tarth herself, Gwendoline Christie. According to the site, the 6ft 3 actress will play an Imperial Officer -- specifically Boyega's commanding officer -- who will be chasing the deserter down over the course of the movie. Not only that; they also hear that this character may have been gender swapped from the original script, and speculate that it might have been the role Benedict Cumberbatch was up for. That's all hearsay of course, but they do feel confident in Christie's role at the very least. If true, what do you think? Would she suit the role? Or were you hoping she'd be playing a good guy/Jedi? Sound off below.
