Possible Terminator director Justin Lin has been asked about working with Vin Diesel again from the Fast & Furious series in Terminator 5. From Moviehole.com:

While Lin is open to the idea of his Fast lead taking on Skynet, the only person he has approached so far about Terminator 5 is Arnold Schwarzenegger. Still, it’s not out of the question.

“Vin’s been a really great partner on this franchise”, Lin says of the duo’s involvement in the Fast series. “We’ve talked about the mythology [of the Terminator series]…[pause] he’s a great guy and a great actor. I really like working with him so anything I do I usually talk to him about. Sometimes we even talk about going back and doing a little indy movie.”

So can we expect Vin in T5 or not? “You never know”, says an unrevealing Lin.

Fast Five, the fifth movie in the Fast & Furious series, opens in theaters April 29th.

**** a terminator 5, the franchise is dead after the last two installments LEAVE IT DEAD. You will NEVER capture the magic of the first two films so stop shoving crap into our faces. Arnold do expendables 2 and try to kill Rambo for two hours, that's what true action fans want to see!

Matador is right, perfect for an unemotional Terminator, maybe one of the new T-800s

@Deadshot
Speak for yourself, I would rather see a proper Terminator movie set in the future, not another crap Expendables

You will never get a "proper" terminator film that echos back to the first two, you have my guarantee of this.

And for everyone saying "the story is dead" or "leave it alone" I have one thing to say, [frick] YOU.

the story is not over dipshits. Terminator is supposed to be a 6-picture epic. Think about it.. Terminator Salvation caught up with the future in Terminator(1984), Cuz of the T-800. Terminator 5 is supposed catch up with Terminator 2, as in the T-1000. Remember a while back when we herd McG was talking to Robert Patrick about bringing the T-1000 back for T5? Well I think this chinese dude should seriously consider this for a story. And T-6 Should be at the very end of the future war, meaning we catch up to Terminator 3, We should see the Terminatrix again, or at least the T-900 from the video games. We are also suppose to see John send Kyle through the Time Displacement Equipment to 1984. ... And we should definitely see John send a reprogramed T-800 to protect him durin Terminator 2....

So yeah the story is far from over dipshits.....
