TERMINATOR: DARK FATE Reactions Claims It's The Best TERMINATOR Movie Since JUDGMENT DAY

Up until now, there hasn't been a huge amount of excitement surrounding yet another Terminator movie, but if the social media reactions are anything to go by, you might want to book your tickets now...

Following a surprise screening last night, the first reactions to Terminator: Dark Fate have surfaced, and these are considerably more positive than anyone could have predicted.

There are comparisons to Star Wars: The Force Awakens and claims that it's the best instalment of the franchise since T2: Judgment Day (which, let's face it, is faint praise considering how terrible the past three efforts were). However, Linda Hamilton is receiving a lot of praise, while it definitely sounds like a fun ride for fans of the long-running franchise.

Not everyone has nice things to say, of course, but social media reactions like this should always be taken with a pinch of salt as there's clearly a lot of excitement here.

Reviews should be with us soon, and they will obviously be a much better indication of what to expect from Terminator: Dark Fate. For now, take a look at these reactions by clicking on the "View List" button below and then be sure to share your thoughts in the usual place.

“The best Terminator since T2”... let’s face it, that’s not really a hard target to try to hit.

Best film since judgement day......that’s not saying much

@dracula - Exactly what I was thinking.

@dracula -
"Best film since Judgment Day" isn't even a new Terminator review.

Please don't let me down, don't know if I can take a bad Terminator sequel again.

That’s not saying a lot. They tricked people into thinking they were seeing T2 in theaters and then showed them this. Stinks of desperation. Other reactions I’ve seen have said it’s predictable and “not good”.

I swear to God if the reviews do a complete 180 from these reactions, my heads gonna explode for the billionth time [that this has happened].

That being said, I don't feel too much excitement from these tweets.

Still a hard pass from me. Terminator, along with Alien and Predator, will not be getting any of my money in the cinema again. I’ll wait till it’s on Netflix or something

@Twenty23Three - and if it's good, you'll kick yourself in the ass for not seeing it in the theater on the big screen.

@Timerider84 - Not for a terminator movie. I didnt like last jedi, but it was the first SW film i had not seen in the theater - im not kicking myself for that even though i would have liked to keep the streak alive. I have missed marvel films - and i love them all to a point and im not kicking myself over them although i really was bummed just a bit to not see thor:rag. Youre acting like seeing it in the theater is life changing. Its a film that wont live up to standards - even these say its the best since t2 - news flash: they all sucked since t2. If it said better than t2, sure id say gtfo to the theater - but im not handing over $20+ for best since t2.

@Timerider84 - I highly doubt that. There is nothing about this movie that suggests, even if it is good, it has any elements that NEED to be seen on a big screen

Whoever put the trailers together suck, because they did this film NO FAVORS. All the films since T2 have been garbage so it’s not too hard to surpass them.

Makes ya wonder how much better deadpool 2 could have been........

@crawley - Deadpools success heavily comes off Reynolds. Both Miler and Leitch have confirmed Reynolds is the driving force behind each film. So I’m not sure it would’ve been “better” or “worse”, considering the foundations are built upon Reynolds.

@crawley - Makes you wonder that? DP 2 was amazing, on pair with the 1st one in literally every category. RT, audience score, box office.

@Se4M4NSt4ine - Well Reynolds pretty much had Black Tom's role in the film nearly completely written out so he could have more screentime which is one of the major problems with DP2 is that it doesn't have a main villain.

@soberchimera - I think thats the charm. At the end of the movie you get a family film rather than your generic hero vs villain showdown. The themes and characters stood out more because of that. The post credit is better than all the MCU IMO too.

@mastakilla39 - Yeah because hero vs. villain showdown are totally lame.

Yeah but what do Scorcece and Coppola think about it? And the characters want to prevent the apocalypse so I assume they're actually despicable.
