The Main Cast Highlighted In Five New Character Posters For TERMINATOR GENISYS

It's hard to say whether or not Alan Taylor's Terminator Genisys will be any good at this point, but these new character posters featuring stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Emilia Clarke, Jason Clarke, Byung-hun Lee, and Jai Courtney are pretty cool! Hit the jump to check them out.

The beginning of Terminator: Genisys, the first of three planned films that Paramount hopes will relaunch the beloved sci-fi franchise, is set in 2029, when the Future War is raging and a group of human rebels has the evil artificial-intelligence system Skynet on the ropes. John Connor (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’ Jason Clarke) is the leader of the resistance, and Kyle Reese (Divergent‘s Jai Courtney) is his loyal soldier, raised in the ruins of post apocalyptic California. As in the original film, Connor sends Reese back to 1984 to save Connor’s mother, Sarah (Game of Thrones‘ Emilia Clarke), from a Terminator programmed to kill her so that she won’t ever give birth to John. But what Reese finds on the other side is nothing like he expected.

Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Clarke, Jai Courtney, Emilia Clarke, Matt Smith, Byung-hun Lee, Courtney B. Vance, and J.K. Simmons, Terminator Genisys is set to be released on July 1st.

@blackandyellow I don't care. Which ever article was live first, not sill being edited, should be the one that stays.

@spidey1994

Not sure... i mean, the empire magazine already gave away that he is the cyborg personification of Skynet... so not sure why they wont show him given they spoiled everything else.

if Connor transformation take place in third act then whoever thought it was a good idea to spoil it with the help of the new trailer and poster clearly still lives mentally in the 80's or 90's. I can't remember when was the last time i saw such a plot revealing trailer. Southpaw came close.

I don't know about the John Connor twist. I really don't think they'd be stupid enough to reveal the films biggest twist. I think there will more than likely be a bigger twist. Whether it will be good or not is another matter entirely.

@blackandyellow I can't say that I have, but I'm sure McGee has given it some serious thought.

I would give it some thought with the Terminatrix:

I'm just gonna go ahead they jumped the gun with Matt Smith in this movie, he'll probably have a larger role in its two sequels and was just a big name added to promote Genisys when it first came out for EW

I know that this is horribly racist but that Asian man doesn't look a tiniest bit intimidating as t1000, looks like cos play. Robert Patrick is the only one who could play that role and now he's fat but Matt Smith wouldn't be a bad replacement, he's got that cat like face.
