TRANSCENDENCE Writer To Pen PROMETHEUS 2; Ridley Scott Not Confirmed To Direct
Last year, Prometheus divided audiences and critics alike, but at least some of you will be excited by the news that the sequel is now moving forward at Fox with Transcendence writer Jack Palgen now attached to pen the script. Read on for details!
Variety reports that Jack Palgen is nearing a deal to pen the screenplay for Prometheus 2. He recently wrote Wally Pfister and Johnny Depp’s sci-fi thriller Transcendence, and this is obviously yet another high profile project for the screenwriter. However, while Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender are expected to return, there's currently no word on whether Sir Ridley Scott will helm the follow-up. He will however produce it through his Scott Free banner. The first instalment made over $400 million worldwide. Hpw do you guys feel about this news?
