I wasnt a fan of the original when I saw it on TV a few years ago - still, this does look pretty damned awesome so I'll more than likely check it out! Hedlund is completely wrong for Cap though IMO... :P

Guys, check out my SQUADRON SUPREME Fan Cast!!! Just click the link!!!

@Multi: That gives me an idea for a great poll...

What sci-fi/fantasy items would you most want to possess (if they actually worked)?

A) Luke's lightsaber
B) Cap's shield
C) Thor's hammer
D) Han's blaster
E) Tron's disc

The list could go on and on...

LEEE777 - 3/16/2010, 8:25 AM
Luke's lightsaber just sounds wrong! : P

Han's blaster, Thor's hammer?

heh heh.
IrvineGray
IrvineGray - 3/16/2010, 8:26 AM
Wow. Damn. Brent. That list. How could I ever choose one?

I'll take F) All Of the Above.

Seriously though, if I had to choose, probably Han's Blaster. Or Luke's Lightsaber. Star Wars. FTW.

The one thing I'd take over any of those, though?

Batman's Utility Belt.

ID LIKE WOLVERINES CLAWS.

Toss up between Lantern's ring or the Mjöllnir. Don't trust myself with a light-saber (I enjoy my limbs too much).
EpicMan
EpicMan - 3/16/2010, 8:58 AM
Could the Bat mobile be considered? or Wonder womans invisible plane? but of those i would go with Thor's hammer. isnt that what makes Thor fly?
EpicMan
EpicMan - 3/16/2010, 9:00 AM
ohh yeah GL ring is a good one! You can fly into Space with that!

Isn't Olivia Munn's character a construct in this movie? If so, *she* could be added to the list of sci-fi objects...and she would definately "work" for me.
SolidSnake
SolidSnake - 3/16/2010, 9:04 AM
First dips on cosmic cube and one of the infinity gems (not greedy for for the full set).

@Multi: No idea what happen with Ollie(Don't follow him), do tell!

@Epic: Not sure really, however I would rate it as a Vehicle.

BannerTech is pretty awesome right now also.

Wait now Spideys web shooter? what is special about that? maybe the formula required to make the liquid refills... but i consider myself in shape enough to swing around town. Both in the literal and proverbial sense! If you get what im saying ;). get it! yeah... swinging.. ohh yeah! J/K im just joking... but Seriously.
EpicMan
EpicMan - 3/16/2010, 9:26 AM
Oh i didnt know that.. i just figured i have swung around before on rope so... Even if it was pretty small it seems his web is pretty sticky and it would help him hold on to it. now i couldnt do all those flips and stuff but i could Tarzan it up.

What does Aquaman's Trident do?
EpicMan
EpicMan - 3/16/2010, 9:48 AM
Ohhh... Very important for the on the go super hero! Good ol Mike Phelps in an Aquaman costume with a bong in the shape of a Trident! Hillarious!

Wow, cool, what started as a mediocre Tron: Legacy article has morphed into something much, much cooler!

As far as the poll goes, I don't have time, so why don't you run with it Poni.

RE: Thor's hammer...even if you were "worthy," you would still need incredible strength to lift it. In one issue, Cap, who is worthy, manages to just barely lift it off the ground and toss it a few feet to Thor and Cap is far stronger than us mere mortals.

I would take Green Lantern's ring, hands down!

A sonic screw driver, Law giver or Biker Scout pistol would be cool.

loganoneil - 3/16/2010, 11:53 AM
Ok guys, how about a compromise? What would you choose if you had your choice of ANY weapon/item (and all of its powers), but WITHOUT the '...specific physical characteristic needed to wield it...' as Multi pointed out (for example, being able to actually WIELD Mjöllnir or shoot Spidey's webshooters, etc.)?

I gotta' say, GL's ring WOULD be cool, but being the 'Doctor Who' geek that I am, I'll take a properly working TARDIS and sonic screwdriver any day!

I know GLs power ring really is drenching for those who don't posesses the needed will power, but now we got a whole bunch of rings thanks to Johns.

So I guess it is a little easier now to find a match with ones personality and possibly get to wield an epic power ring. Even though I would love to have the Green power ring, I think the Indigo fits better as it draws its power from compassion(I know I'm a pansy for admitting that I am very compassionate)

Hellraiser´s cube would be nice to own!!:D Heh Heh Heh... But yeah! Thor´s hammer rules!!:D

SolidSnake
SolidSnake - 3/17/2010, 4:43 AM
@Poni: The eye would be awesome, I however would just get real corrupt using that lol.

Also it makes sense that Ollie could not use the GL ring, since he wasn't chosen. Pretty sad considering Scarecrow is wielding it atm (orange or yellow)

@Lucky: hahaha that is hilarious, well at least its not the blue ring.

@john: why the wings? when you can have the hammer :)
