Almost as quickly as it started, Comic-Con is over and what initially looked like it would be a relatively disappointing event actually proved to be really good (even if Marvel Studios decided to skip it).
Over the course of four days, we were treated to new trailers, posters, huge announcements, and genuine shocks. Ultimately, it's fair to say that this won't be a Comic-Con we forget for some time.
Now, we're recapping the event and bringing you everything you need to know about it in one easy place (which should come in very handy regardless of whether you were glued to your computer all weekend or may have missed our epic amount of coverage). So, to take a look at all of the biggest reveals from this year's Comic-Con, all you guys have to do is click on the "View List" button below.
Comic-Con kicked off with some controversy with the debut of the first trailer for Titans, a dark, bloody, R-Rated series which saw Robin say "F*** Batman!" when some crooks asked where the Caped Crusader was. Many fans love the direction the DC Universe series is heading in while others have likened it to a fan-film but it's clearly going to be a divisive one if it's really as moody as it looks.

This news may not have come straight from the Comic-Con floor but the fact that Comcast has decided to bow out of the bidding war to acquire 21st Century Fox was welcomed by comic book fans because the chances of the X-Men and Fantastic Four returning home have now increased significantly. All Disney needs to do is get through the regulatory process and the MCU will get a whole lot bigger.
Fans have spent years hoping that Star Wars: The Clone Wars will receive the ending it deserves and the show being saved was made official at Comic-Con during a tenth-anniversary panel for the beloved animated series. Those episodes will arrive on Disney's planned streaming service in the not too distant future and based on that first teaser trailer, fans of the show have a lot to start getting excited about.
Pricing details for DC Universe were revealed last week and it's actually surprisingly reasonable. However, in a bid to keep fans interested, Warner Bros. is developing plenty of original content and that's going to include a live-action Stargirl TV series. Bizarrely, it was also confirmed that these shows won't all take place in the same world as Swamp-Thing won't share any ties to Titans or Doom Patrol.
The first season of Iron Fist is widely considered a disappointment and much of that is down to the fact that Danny Rand simply didn't bear much of a resemblance to his comic book counterpart by the time all was said and done. Thankfully, it looks like the second batch of episodes - which hit Netflix this September - will fix that as the hero looks to try and fill the void left by Daredevil's apparent death.

In news which has left comic book fans reeling, it was confirmed on Friday that James Gunn has been fired by Disney after Twitter trolls unearthed some old Tweets where he made crude jokes about a number of controversial topics. That means the filmmaker will no longer be at the helm of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and the fate of that franchise is now very much up in the air as a result of this.

Unbreakable is rightly considered a cult classic and Split was a lot of fun with a killer twist which perfectly set the stage for Glass. Bringing together David Dunn, Kevin Crumb, and Mr. Glass, this movie will further explore the emergence of superheroes in a world identical to our own while delivering a crossover which is, in many ways, as exciting as when we first saw The Avengers all come together.

Sony didn't release the footage for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse which they showed off to fans at Comic-Con but we did at least get some casting news for the movie. Nicolas Cage (Teen Titans Go! To the Movies) has been confirmed as the voice of Spider-Man Noir, while Kimiko Green (Orange Is The New Black) is voicing SP//dr Peni Parker, and John Mulaney (Big Mouth) will be playing Spider-Ham.

Due to unfinished special effects, Sony opted to not release the new Venom trailer either and it sounds incredible. Confirming that the lead villain will be Riot, there were lots of hints about other symbiotes showing up but no mention of Carnage or that rumoured cameo from Tom Holland's Peter Parker. Venom reportedly uses axe hands and bites someone's head off so it could very well be R-Rated.

Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee's Batman: Hush is considered one of the definitive stories featuring The Dark Knight and it's finally getting the animated treatment in 2019. That wasn't the only one announced, though, as we also learned that Reign of the Superman is still coming next year along with Justice League vs. The Fatal Five and an unexpected fourth release titled Wonder Woman: Bloodlines.
There's been a lot of controversy surrounding Johnny Depp's involvement in the Fantastic Beasts franchise but after watching this new trailer, it's hard not to be excited about what the actor will bring to the table. Throw in an unexpected appearance from Nicholas Flamel (the creator of the Sorcerer's Stone) and it's clear this movie could have major ramifications for the Harry Potter franchise.
Kong: Skull Island was a great deal of fun and while Godzilla could have done with a little more if the titular monster, it was still pretty solid. However, the first trailer for King of the Monsters promises a significantly more epic adventure which includes a number of other iconic movie monsters and plenty of Godzilla unleashing his full power before he clashes with King Kong a couple of years from now.

Well, this was a nice treat! Heading into Comic-Con, pretty much no one expected an actual trailer for Shazam! to debut at the event but Warner Bros. got one ready and it definitely impressed. Yes, it's apparent that it will be massively different in terms of tone to every other DC Comics adaptation we've seen in recent years but that may not necessarily be a bad thing for this divisive shared universe.

The Aquaman trailer was confirmed for Comic-Con well over a week before the event and so anticipation was high on Saturday. Despite some questionable CGI (which is totally understandable seeing as the movie is still five months away from being released), everything here looks great and the signs seem to be pointing to James Wan having nailed this adaptation in terms of action and tone.

Warner Bros. bought a sizzle reel for Wonder Woman 1984 to Comic-Con but decided not to release it online. That's understandable considering the fact that the footage was so rough but the general consensus seems to be that it's going to be a rather bright and breezy affair with plenty of laughs and some solid action. Bizarrely, Patty Jenkins has indicated the movie will be standalone in nature.
Warner Bros. has been trying to bring Lobo to the big screen for years now and while Michael Bay is said to be developing a movie featuring the character, he'll actually make his television debut in Krypton next year. No casting details have been revealed as of yet but it's going to be a lot of fun seeing him arrive in this series, while it was also revealed that Doomsday will get the spotlight in the show.
It sounds like Oliver Queen will spend a large chunk of season seven behind bars but a new group of bad guys have been found in the Longbow Hunters with Holly Elissa (Whistler) as Red Dart, Michael Jonsson (Van Helsing) as Kodiak, and Miranda Edwards (The Magicians) as Silencer. The trio is described as a legendary group of assassins that will join forces with Ricardo Diaz to take down Green Arrow.
The Reverse-Flash used a ring to suit up during his appearances in The Flash but that's not something we've ever seen Barry Allen do. Thankfully, it now looks like that might be changing when the show returns and it made for a great tease at Comic-Con. It was also revealed that Cicada will be The Flash's big bad in season five and he will no doubt pose a very different threat to the Scarlet Speedster.

While it's highly unlikely we'll ever get to see Hugh Jackman as Wolverine again, the premiere of the Deadpool 2: The Super Duper Cut on Saturday revealed a slightly altered after-credits scene featuring the Merc with the Mouth telling Logan to just say "yes" when he comes calling in what was clearly a nod to the hero joining X-Force. As of right now, that seems like wishful thinking on everyone's part.
Unfortunately, we didn't get any big announcements during Warner Bros.' DC panel at Comic-Con but Geoff Johns provided an update on his Green Lantern Corps movie during an interview over the weekend. Apparently, he intends to "reimagine" and "reinvent" the franchise but he was quick to point out that his script will indeed be taking some cues from his critically acclaimed Green Lantern run.
Comic-Con has really done a good job with heightening security in recent years and that's proving to be problematic for fans who can't make it to San Diego. Pretty much nothing has leaked from the event this year but we did at least get four seconds of Wonder Woman 1984 footage last night which showed Diana Prince leaping into action in what is quite clearly going to be a much brighter follow-up.
