Warner Bros. and New Line recently debuted a second trailer for Shazam! Fury of the Gods, and a Japanese version featuring quite a bit of new footage has now found its way online.
We see Billy Batson's adoptive parents freaking out, more of Zachary Levi's titular hero and his family doing battle against the Daughters of Atlas, and Shazam saving a woman while she's listening to "Holding Out for a Hero" by Bonnie Tyler.
But it's one particular shot around the 48-second mark that's really caught fans' attention!
Is that Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman? They certainly look like her silver gauntlets, and we may also get a glimpse of red in her armor, but it's worth noting that Rachel Zegeler's character, Anthea, does sport a similar-looking costume.
Gadot is expected to show up for a cameo, so it might well be her, but we're not entirely convinced. Check out the trailer for yourselves below and let us know what you think.
"Bestowed with the powers of the gods, Billy Batson and his fellow foster kids are still learning how to juggle teenage life with having adult Super Hero alter-egos. But when the Daughters of Atlas, a vengeful trio of ancient gods, arrive on Earth in search of the magic stolen from them long ago, Billy—aka Shazam—and his family are thrust into a battle for their superpowers, their lives, and the fate of their world."
From New Line Cinema comes Shazam! Fury of the Gods, which continues the story of teenage Billy Batson who, upon reciting the magic word “SHAZAM!,” is transformed into his adult Super Hero alter ego, Shazam.
