Warner Bros. and New Line recently debuted a second trailer for Shazam! Fury of the Gods, and a Japanese version featuring quite a bit of new footage has now found its way online.

We see Billy Batson's adoptive parents freaking out, more of Zachary Levi's titular hero and his family doing battle against the Daughters of Atlas, and Shazam saving a woman while she's listening to "Holding Out for a Hero" by Bonnie Tyler.

But it's one particular shot around the 48-second mark that's really caught fans' attention!

Is that Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman? They certainly look like her silver gauntlets, and we may also get a glimpse of red in her armor, but it's worth noting that Rachel Zegeler's character, Anthea, does sport a similar-looking costume.

Gadot is expected to show up for a cameo, so it might well be her, but we're not entirely convinced. Check out the trailer for yourselves below and let us know what you think.

"Bestowed with the powers of the gods, Billy Batson and his fellow foster kids are still learning how to juggle teenage life with having adult Super Hero alter-egos. But when the Daughters of Atlas, a vengeful trio of ancient gods, arrive on Earth in search of the magic stolen from them long ago, Billy—aka Shazam—and his family are thrust into a battle for their superpowers, their lives, and the fate of their world."

From New Line Cinema comes Shazam! Fury of the Gods, which continues the story of teenage Billy Batson who, upon reciting the magic word “SHAZAM!,” is transformed into his adult Super Hero alter ego, Shazam.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods stars returning cast members Zachary Levi (Thor: Ragnarok) as Shazam; Asher Angel (Andi Mack) as Billy Batson; Jack Dylan Grazer (It Chapter Two) as Freddy Freeman; Adam Brody (Promising Young Woman) as Super Hero Freddy; Ross Butler (Raya and the Last Dragon) as Super Hero Eugene; Meagan Good (Day Shift) as Super Hero Darla; D.J. Cotrona (G.I. Joe: Retaliation) as Super Hero Pedro; Grace Caroline Currey (Annabelle: Creation) as Mary Bromfield / Super Hero Mary; Faithe Herman (This Is Us) as Darla Dudley; Ian Chen (A Dog’s Journey) as Eugene Choi; Jovan Armand (Second Chances) as Pedro Pena; Marta Milans (White Lines) as Rosa Vasquez; Cooper Andrews (The Walking Dead) as Victor Vasquez; with Djimon Hounsou (A Quiet Place Part II) as Wizard.

Joining the cast are Rachel Zegler (West Side Story), with Lucy Liu (Kung Fu Panda franchise) and Helen Mirren (F9: The Fast Saga).

Are you looking forward to Shazam! Fury of The Gods? The superhero sequel is set to hit theaters on March 17, 2023.

@Taonrey - Gal definitely got the sex appeal, i especially liked her look in WW84 but has never been convincing as an actor... the fish out of water approach worked well in WW 2017 though. Cavill Defo looked the part but didn't smile enough and it's a shame we never got to see his full potential.

Battfleck was cool though, just having him be murderbats didn't work.

Dude, that’s absolutely her and not Anthea. The gauntlets aren’t similar at all, and the boots and armlet are the giveaways here.

I have no idea what the voice-over is saying, but it makes it ten times better. Makes me miss those early 2000s trailer voice-overs.

Anyways, guess that's why they don't wanna say Gadot is out or not, since she still has a DCEU appearance (or maybe more) left.

Like Vladimir and Estragon I'm just waiting for Gadot... to be replaced by someone else in the DCU.

Might have to wait a while though, since we're getting a prequel series first, but maybe before the end of Chapter One we'll see a new Wonder Woman.

I'm pretty sure that photo is her going in for a serious boogie.

Getting scared about her grooming issues again.

Given the news lately this is more likely to the last glimpse rather than the first.
