The Shazam: Fury of the Gods set photos keep on coming, and this latest batch spotlight a surprising encounter between members of the Shazam Family and a character who was believed to have been killed off in the first film.
We recently learned that Djimon Hounsou (GOTG, Captain Marvel) would indeed reprise the role of "The Wizard" in David F. Sandberg's sequel, and he can be seen here alongside Jovan Armand (Pedro Pena), Ian Chen (Eugene Choi), and Grace Fulton, who will also play the superhero version of Mary Bromfield/Marvel this time.
We're not exactly sure what's being filmed here, but it looks like Mary, Eugene and Pedro are supposed to be on horseback - unless they're riding some other-worldly creatures that need to be added in post!

This is just the latest in a series of set leaks. The most recent video showed West Side Story star Rachel Zegler filming a scene in a golden superhero outfit, which looks quite similar to the colorful duds sported by the Shazam Family. Zegler is believed to be playing a villain, but some recently leaked details about her character suggest that she might be posing as an ally of Billy Batson (Asher Angel) and Freddy Freeman (Jack Dylan Grazer) in an attempt to gain their trust.
That's just speculation based on the information available, but at the time she was cast, Zegler was said to have taken on the role of the youngest of three sisters, and we know Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu will play villainous sisters Hespera and Kalypso.
We've also seen a battle-damaged Shzam (Zachary Levi) facing-off against an unknown foe.
Shazam: Fury of the Gods is set to hit theaters on June 2, 2023.
