Well, this is a treat! Seemingly still wise from past mistakes, Warner Bros. has chosen to officially release the first trailer for Shazam! and it's an absolute must-see. A huge departure from what we're used to seeing in the DCEU, it quickly becomes apparent that this is more Ant-Man and The Wasp than Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and based on how much fun this looks, that's no bad thing.
There's plenty of humour on display here as we see Billy Batson get used to being a superhero, trying out his powers in scenes which are definitely reminiscent of Geoff Johns and Gary Frank's comics.
