The actor who is famous for his works in such films as Slumdog Millionaire and Marc Webb's newest superhero flick The Amazing Spider-man, reveals why he hasn't really said much about his role in the film, or the film itself for that matter. However, he does go on to say that his role is not a very big one. Read on below for the details.

"I don't brag about it because I don't like bragging. I hate bragging. I don't enjoy bragging. Sometimes people have an attitude that
bragging brings something to them, but I don't want to achieve anything from bragging. I don't like that. I definitely do publicity for a film where I feel it is necessary, where I am excited about it, where I feel they need me... I go and do it.

As for the role he portrays in the upcoming film starring the popular superhero Spider-Man, he does give a very brief insight on it, read below.

I don't have a lengthy role in this film. I did it because it was an experience for me. In Hollywood, they call it as a pivotal role because it moves the story in some way, but I don't think it's a very big role. For me, my presence is enough and I enjoyed it."

The Amazing Spider-Man swings into theaters July 3rd, 2012, and stars Andrew Garfield, Rhys Ifans, Emma Stone, Denis Leary, Sally Field and Martin Sheen.

The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance - leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr Curt Connors (Ifans), his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.
