The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance - leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors (Ifans), his father's former partner. Most of these designs are strange. It seems like the artist was inspired by Batman's suit.

One thing I really like about the first one is the webbing under both arms like Spiderman use to have.

The actual suit they used is very reminiscent of the Matt Salinger Captain America suit. Both look like scuba suits, both suck major ass.

None of the alternates work unless Pete is a designer and has some big bucks.

That first costume is sweet looking if they were gonna do a 2099 movie. The second costume is my favorite except for the mask. It would work withthe mask from the first costume. The 3rd would work as a Scarlet Spider costume.

I just wish the would include some realistic backstory as to how he go the costume made.. no way could any of the movie costumes have been made by a young Peter Parker... why couldn't they have ski mask Spidey save someone's life and the guy he saves is a Taylor and as a way of saying thanks he makes him a costume since the get up he made himself to start crime fighting was so pathetic!! It really could be a few quick scenes with some humor and would explain how he gets the final version of the costume in a realistic manner... He wouldn't even have to divulge his identity to the Taylor.

The first one is certainly a great step towards a symbiote suit! Second would be like a Scarlet Spider. Third is Ultimate. That would be my placement for the costumes according to character or series.

Actually...I like all three of them, but they're not movie material. I like how Scarlet Spider-ish the mask on the third costume looks.

the first one looks amazing...but seems to symbiote like...spider-symbol wise at least. If the movies get that far I REALLY hope he uses the more traditional black suit...always loved it
