Three days ago, I posted a poll listing all of the likely candidates who are seemingly in the running to play Spider-Man in the 2012 reboot in order to get an idea about which of those actors the users of CBM most want to see in the role. I've kept an eye on the voting over the past 72 hours and it's remained pretty steady for the most part (although there were a few instances where I was horrified to see Donald Glover and Zac Efron in the lead!) with the winner eventually being fan favourite, Logan Lerman:
780 Votes (23.21%)
However, I was little more surprised at just how close a contest it was with the majority of candidates having less than a hundred votes difference between them. Kick-Ass star Aaron Johnson had a good lead in second place though, with Jamie Bell almost 200 votes behind:
607 Votes (18.06%)
422 Votes (12.56%)
And here are the rest of the results in full:
Anton Yelchin
339 Votes (10.09%)
