Now filming has finished on The Amazing Spider-Man, MTV News caught up with Emma Stone at the recent movie awards to ask her about what it was like working on such a CGI and green screen heavy set as well as what, in hindsight, she really should have looked to for inspiration.

"We actually just wrapped. [I'd] probably [tell myself to] watch 'Rear Window' and watch Jimmy Stewart react for an entire movie, and figure out if you're able to do that same thing. Reacting to nothing is tougher than you think. I've never had to do that before. Usually you're sort of ping-ponging with people."

"It's difficult for me, but maybe that's just me!"

With an all star cast that includes Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Denis Leary as Captain George Stacy, Rhys Ifans as Curt Connors, Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben and Sally Field as Aunt May, The Amazing Spider-Man is set to be released in 3D on July 3, 2012!

Always liked her better with the red/brown hair. Hated her Blonde natural hair, doesn't look right. Still though regardless of hair color, she is a very good actor, and is very beautiful!!!!

If they're done this quick then why not film the sequel(s) now. Spiderman is an established franchise, so it's not like these wouldnt make a grip.

Children have the ability to IMAGINE entire environments when they play. Weather it's action figures or a complete adventure in the room. Why would an actor not be able to EASILY perform for a green screen scenario? That's why it's called ACTING!

Shooting wrapped quick, more than several scenes being filmed are uploaded online (none of them impressive), low budget cast and the novelty of 3D. Oh yeah, this is going to be awesome. Heavy on the Awe. =(

@NeoBaggins Wait your suppose to stop doing that when you get older, lol, I still play with my kid and his action figures. Man, I even see myself playing with the toys when he is asleep, sad, but very cool.

@gambitfreak There's nothing "sad" about that. It's awesome that you interact with your kid and his action figures. It's awesome that you are familiar with the toys he plays with and not a Dad that has no clue who the characters are. I'm sure it makes his/her experience playing with you even more fulfilling. Unimaginative people eat ass. Be proud.

And the point is; if a child can imagine, an actor, who's profession is pretending, should be able to act in front of a green screen without making any amount of deal about it. It's just a cop-out put in place for when their performance fails.

@NeoBaggins Actually, i don't think it's that simple. Sure, actors are supposedly experts in pretending, but generally is about pretending to be other person not neccessarily about imagining a whole enviroment and other people which aren't even a creation of their own but based on some script and stuff.

Children do have that skill but it's cause their world almost centers around imagination while adults have to take much more things form reality in consideration which kinda of disables our skill of imagining great things. And add the fact that it's much more easy to express an idea, emotion, to react, etc. when you have a real person from which you can recieve feedback (being verbal or non verbal). I think it goes around that issue that she mentions that kind of difficulty with the green screen.
