Spider-Man: Far From Home has now wrapped filming in Venice and has moved on to another location, but photos from the recent shoot are still finding their way online.

On the heels of a set pic featuring Spidey (Tom Holland) and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) on a boat, these latest snaps give us a much better look at both actors in costume as they enjoy a scenic trip down the city's famed waterways.

We still have very little context for the scene, but we can see that Peter is initially sporting a hoodie before ditching it and unveiling his costume, which may suggest that he's just about to leap from the boat and begin some kind of mission for Fury.

I figured the reason he had the stealth suit (which is definitely a new suit form the pictures) was just bc he didn’t want anyone to know that Spider-Man was in Europe bc it would give away that he’s Peter so now i dont know what they’re going for. I’m def giving them the benefit of the doubt but this seems like further away from what I wanted from this version of Spidey. Hopefully after this they take a lot of cues form the PS4 Spider-Man game

(As someone who really likes the Slingers, I would love to see a live-action take on the Identity Crisis storyline, though.)

@Spock0Clock - that was probably just to have some semblance that it is him for toys and merchandising so the logic kinda has to be suspended at that point but I think that was the surface level reason for the black suit

@Ha1frican - the reason for the stealth suit is to simply be less visible at night... it is not hiding the fact that anyone would recognize him... since he has spider sense he can usually avoid those situations.

It looks like the Homecoming suit again which is disappointing. The web pattern might as well be invisible and he still has those stripes and sharpie lines on the arms and legs.
