As filming on Sony Pictures' Kraven the Hunter continues (we haven't seen a single set photo since that initial batch), we have word on another cast addition to the "SPUMC" movie.
Deadline reports that Aussie actor Levi Miller (Pan, A Wrinkle in Time) has joined the production, but no details on the character he'll be playing were disclosed.
Morbius' box office performance can't have sit well with Sony, but with Kraven, Madame Webb, Spider-Woman and more on the way, the studio is still determined to forge ahead with its Spider-Man-less Marvel movie universe. We assume the plan is to have all of these characters join forces for some kind of Sinister Six team-up, but that remains to be seen.
Kraven the Hunter will also feature Aaron Taylor Johnson as the titular antihero, Russell Crowe in an undisclosed role (most likely Kraven's father), Fred Hechinger as The Chameleon, Ariana DeBose as Calypso, Christopher Abbott as The Foreigner, and Alessandro Nivola as another unnamed villain
J.C. Chandor (Triple Frontier; A Most Violent Year) will direct Kraven from a screenplay from Art Marcum, Matt Holloway (Iron Man; Uncharted) and Richard Wenk (The Equalizer; Jack Reacher: Never Go Back). The movie is currently scheduled for a theatrical release on January 13, 2023.
