Marc Webb Seemingly Confirms That Norman Osborn Is Indeed Green Goblin In TASM 2
Comments from Felicity Jones earlier this week about being "the Goblin’s girlfriend" led many fans to come to the conclusion that earlier rumours about Dane Dehaan's Harry taking up the villainous mantle were true. Well, that seemingly WON'T be the cast according to director Marc Webb.
It's been rumoured more than once that it will be Harry who becomes the Green Goblin in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 rather than his father Norman, and 29 year-old actress Felicity Jones saying she plays the Goblin's girlfriend led many to understandably come to the conclusion that that must mean she's involved with the younger Osborn. Apparently not. Cinema Blend got the chance to speak with director Marc Webb, and while he wouldn't give too much away, this is what they apparently learned. "Webb clarified one very small but very crucial thing for us: Jones's character has a "special relationship" with Norman Osborn, not Harry." So, not only does this seemingly confirm that it will indeed be Norman who takes up the mantle, but that the iconic villain is in the movie. What do you guys think? Sound off with your thoughts in the usual place!
