Hot Toys are renowned for their incredibly lifelike action figures, and that doesn't look like it will change with their latest effort for The Amazing Spider-Man. The costume has been brought to life in painstaking detail, and the following scans from a Japanese magazine offer us our best look at the toy yet. It will of course come with Peter Parker's head, although we're yet to see more than a glimpse of that (in the original teaser image released by the manufacturers). Are you planning on buying the figure when it goes on sale later this year? Sound off with your thoughts in the usual place.

The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance - leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr Curt Connors (Ifans), his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

STARRING:

Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man
Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy
Rhys Ifans as Curt Connors/The Lizard
Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben
Sally Fields as Aunt May
Denis Leary as George Stacy

RELEASE DATE: July 3rd, 2012.

As always, Hot Toys delivers. I can't imagine the amount of tedious work that went into getting the texture of the suit to translate.

Aside from the gold-color of the eye lens, that figurine looks badass!!

Looks cool, my only real problem is the suit looks way too bright from these images; I'd prefer it 2 b darker n a bit more toned down

The classic suit will always be the best, but, this one has certainly grown on me...OK, let's put designs aside. This figure is awesome. I'll just stop there because affording this - or any other Hot Toys products - will always stay as a dream of mine.

Very cool, the suit looks silly though, in that material I mean, It doesn't fold well on the figure.

The Game has a lot of issues, a TON! but has good mechanics and who doesn't love web-slinging for hours?

the new suit is getting more cooler and cooler but I hope they should redesign it in sequels, maybe they should darker the colors, and that belt :|
for Hot Toys its very cool design really looks like in the movie, but only thing It bothers me of their Toys is the heads are always look bigger IMO

The suit still looks strange. They shouldn't have put strips down the legs and blue on the gloves. Just saying.
