It looks like, more bad news for the spider-man musical Tickets for Thursday night's performance of SPIDER-MAN:TURN OFF THE DARK were released at TKTS at a 30 percent discount last night, March 4. Could this be an indication that the show is struggling to sellout the Foxwoods Theatre?

AM New York's Matt Windman wrote of the news this morning:

"Tickets for Thursday night's performance [of "Spider-Man"] were released earlier in the day at the TKTS booth at a 30 percent discount. As far I know, this is the first time tickets for "Spider-Man" have been made available there. It's another indication that demand to see the show is starting to fade."

Tickets are priced from $67.50 - $135 for weekday performances and $67.50 - $140 for weekend performances and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com or by calling (877) 250-2929 . Tickets are also available at the Foxwoods Theatre box office Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Preferred seating is available to American Express® Gold Card, Platinum Card® and Centurion® members.

I'm not too thrilled about the idea of this, but I'm sure it's pretty amazing to see them flying across the stage and around the theater. I saw Lion King and it blew my mind. I thought these tickets were all sold out. I think I have to take an emergency trip to see this before it is canceled. Sorry I'm not among the "shut it down" crew, but I don't trust critics.
