From what I've seen of Emma Stone, she seems witty and intelligent, which is how Gwen is supposed to be.
I think it might turn out to be a great movie.

While I love to see Emma Stone in movies, what's the hype of her being so damn sexy? She's right for Gwen Stacy, because isn't Gwen this plain Jane kind of girl? Plus, Emma doesn't have any boobs or butt action going on (I'll admit that she deserves browny points for pointing that out in "Easy A").

Well, since they got a 27-year-old to play a teenage Peter Parker, what makes a difference if the choice for MJ is 26. Plus, Mary Elizabeth Winstead has amazing breasts and great curves that I've seen in the video that GUNSMITH provided for us.

I still think Elena Satine would be better for MJ. she has this supermodel looks that the character is supposed to have. I wouldn't mind Mary Elizabeth Winstead though.

Seems a few have lost touch with comic book reality here. I swear that some people here have overinflated ideas about the characters in the Spidey books. Gwen Stacy isn't supposed to be a blond bombshell, or super hot sexy gal about town - THAT was Mary Jane Watson's job.... MJ was the Super Model Starlet. Though no "plain Jane" herself, while Gwen isn't lacking in the looks department; her personality is what shone through in the comics more than looks. Emma Stone is a great choice for this: completely understated, but not too overly pretty nor too shabby either.
