Marvel's most popular super hero, Spider-Man, swings into a new season in "Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors," premiering SUNDAY, AUGUST 31 (9:00 a.m. ET) on the Marvel Universe programming block on Disney XD. Accompanied by Nova, Iron Fist, Power Man and White Tiger, Spider-Man and the team take on dangerous S.H.I.E.L.D. missions and encounter some of their most thrilling adventures yet.

The new season begins with Spider-Man accepting an invitation to become an Avenger. Alongside Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Hawkeye, Black Widow and Falcon, everyone’s favorite web-head gets one step closer to becoming the Ultimate Spider-Man!

Presented in a multi-episode story format, "Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors" not only pairs Spidey with the Avengers, but introduces new heroes and villains from the Marvel Universe such as Agent Venom, a new Iron Spider Amadeus Cho, Cloak & Dagger, and Ka-Zar. Additionally, for the first time in animation history, Miles Morales teams up with Spider-Man for a new adventure and he’s not the only Spidey that Peter Parker will encounter in this action-packed season.

So Venom isn't a big angry weightlifter with issues and a big oily looking alien with sharp fangs anymore?

I despise the Ultimate Universe and therefore cannot stand most movies and tv shows heavily based in it. I gave this show a fair shake, but It was hard for me to get into it. I wish they would start making cartoons and animated films based on the 616 universe. And have their live-action films based on the 616 universe too (but I know that will never happen).

It's when Spider-Man is constantly yelling NO No no no no no no like he's Shia lebouf that is the biggest annoyance

Didn't know Flash had become Venom on this. I watched a few episodes of the first season, but really couldn't get into it. Didn't seem like it was going to provide much compelling storytelling.

Drake's voice has actually got more and more annoying in this. Dude should just use his real voice.

@ibravosp5

Indeed that adds to people's hate for this series, but that hate is coupled with the fact this show is not written to be anythiing else but a kids cartoon. The writers forgot to include us adults that enjoy these toons and have pandered to the younglings instead. There are many elements about this show that I would cut out, but I see those things will always be apart of this series so I tend mot to watch it avidly as I did Spectacular Spiderman.

However, I like Agent Venom a lot (he is no Eddie Brock Venom, but hey he is pretty cool in his own way) so I will be tuning in to see this episode.
