Very Interesting, and different than what I would expect from Zimmer.

As much as I enjoy Hans Zimmer's scores. This is pretty crappy.

I don't think it's close enough to Voyager to have any legal issues.

It's alright, kind of reminds of the Mighty Ducks theme, which is freakin epic.

Well...picture Spider-Man swinging around to that music, probably makes it more exciting.

Lame. He'll have to work harder to beat Elfman's theme.
merrillmind
merrillmind - 12/13/2013, 7:24 PM
This is just speculation, not confirmation of anything. If any of you think the brilliant composer Hans Zimmer composed this is mistaken. Sony I'm sure will
not let his actual theme get heard until release is closer, plus most of you to have forgotten that multiple artists are contributing to the score, so even if this was apart of the overall final film score several people besides Zimmer could've done this.
THIS IS NOT NEWS, THIS IS NOT CREDIBLE

Very 80's ish.
Elayis
Elayis - 12/13/2013, 7:43 PM
Hans himself has confirmed that it's from the film. It was taken from the official site.

While it might not be the final version, or not even the main theme at all (the music from the Man of Steel app was "Flight" not "What Are You Going to Do When You Are Not Saving the World?"), it will be used in the film at some level.
SpiderParker
SpiderParker - 12/13/2013, 7:50 PM
Its not the main theme, I doubt if its even gonna be used in the movie. Its just a score from the website.

Remember that?
Jazukai
Jazukai - 12/13/2013, 7:53 PM
I dont hate it, as it rings of a superhero standing proud and triumphant over the city, but Spider-Man isn't at that point yet. This is about him getting cocky and being knocked down, so it should be more energetic.

Horner's score was brilliant, because it captured the whimsical feel of how he felt being Spider-Man. Even the comic-con trailer used an updated version of it.

Marvel has never ever had any continuity in composers, and just when I thought this would change it, they go and hire Hans Zimmer.
BlackPhillip

Not better than Elfman's theme.
Elayis
Elayis - 12/13/2013, 7:56 PM
Did you miss the part where I said HANS HIMSELF CONFIRMED IT'S FROM THE MOVIE?
merrillmind
merrillmind - 12/13/2013, 8:02 PM
@Elayis Zimmer confirming it has to do with the movie neither confirms it's the main theme, nor who composed it. This is misleading and Zimmer shouldn't be posted as making this, because their is no proof this is his actual work, which makes this article wrong because it's merely speculation and even worse claiming something that at the moment can not be proven.
Elayis
Elayis - 12/13/2013, 8:06 PM
So, wait, Zimmer stating that he composed it that it is actually from the movie... is speculation?

What am I missing?

That sucked dik
merrillmind
merrillmind - 12/13/2013, 8:21 PM
Did everyone else miss the fact that theirs NO CONFIRMATION THIS IS ZIMMERS WORK when it has already been confirmed that besides Zimmer all of these following artists are working together to create the entire score collectively
Johnny Marr, guitarist for The Smiths
Pharrell
Mike Einzinger guitarist for Incubus and
Dave Stewart
So I'll reiterate again, this is misleading and not news, since their has been NO CONFIRMATION THAT THIS IS THE THEME TO TASM2
Wildaniel
Wildaniel - 12/13/2013, 8:29 PM
Yeah, no confirmation at all, im thinking its fake!

This is just a demo confirmed to
a source by Hanz himself
"I didn't do the trailer. I did the fanfare. It's Arturo Santoval, Johnny Marr, Andy Page and myself. ...it's just the demo mock-up. I didn't do the Trailer. Haven't even seen it."

I thought Horner's score was one of the better things about the first Amazing. I guess it wasn't a generic enough go-to choice for Sony, who've now opted to have Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman write the thing, along with *every other movie in hollywood*. It makes sense that they want *the guy who does the score for every other super hero movie* on it, too.
merrillmind
merrillmind - 12/13/2013, 8:38 PM
*Hans Zimmer (dam auto correct)

@ELayis, your info was correct sorry for the antimocity, but not mentioning that that this music is not finished and a demo is not properly relaying the known information.
