We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead. It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp...

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be directed by Marc Webb from a script written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Jeff Pinkner and James Vanderbilt. The film will star Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Sally Field as Aunt May, Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson, Paul Giamatti as Rhino, Jamie Foxx is Electro and Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn. The Amazing Spider-Man sequel will swing into theaters May 2, 2014.

Having 23 deleted scenes sort of explains why the film felt clunky

No one saw the film, how do we know these deleted scenes weren't used in the film? I think this is just a trick to get people to watch this garbage film. lol

I'm not sure I will ever watch the film again, so watching deleted scenes would be an exercise in futility.

I enjoyed this movie. I had numerous issues with it but it wasn't as bad as people are claiming it to be.

Don't know why so many people hate this movie. Avi Arad's a great director.

Not to mention Foxx's best performance since Wanda on In Living Color.

Can't believe they left out some of these scenes. Would've helped clarify the plot a lot.

Nearly half an hour of deleted scenes!

Jesus, even in HD that father scene is god awful. So glad it didn't make the cut. The extended plane scene is unnecessary and so is that stupid morgue scene. But having Flash show up and Max's mom would've helped the movie out and made it exponentially better.

Why does it seem like every SM movie Webb does he cuts out the best scenes to move the movie forward?

Lol, a certain someone on this thread has some truly large testicles to try and throw shade at people who hated this film.
